Loads Of Wishes

When I saw this stamp in the new release I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!
I had big plans for this stamp and then everything that could go wrong did.

The first time I coloured this stamp I was at my brother's cottage and couldn't find the light switch at 5:30 a.m. so I coloured by flashlight. Needless to say, when I saw it in "real" light....I couldn't use it. So I coloured it again and this time my middle and lightest shades of red both pretty much ran out at the same time when I was almost done... I won't continue with the rest of the drama.......

Instead I would like to introduce you to "Old Truck, Presents, Christmas Tree" and the "Loads of Wishes" sentiment from the Fall/Winter Fun new release.

I coloured my Old Truck, Presents and Christmas Tree stamps with alcohol markers and then fussy cut them out. I put the presents in the bed of the box and decided to make the tree part of my scene although it does fit perfectly in the back of the truck by itself as well. I added my "pieces" to some stitched hill snow banks and paper from Carta Bella's - Christmas Delivery 6x6 pad. Some Silver Wink of Stella was added to a few of the bows and the "chrome" pieces on the truck. The sentiment is stamped and cut with a stitched square die. Some snowflakes and gumdrops finish off my card.

Moo-rry Christmas

There are a ton of fun, cute new stamps and sentiments  in the Fall/Winter Fun release from High Hopes Rubber Stamps!

Don't tell the snowmen, turkeys and witches and ghosts, but I have to admit - Charlie is my favourite from this release. There are 4 "Charlie" stamps and each one of them makes me smile! And don't get me started on the matching sentiments!

My card today is featuring: Chillin Charlie Christmas Cow" and the "Moo-rry Christmas" sentiment.

I coloured Charlie with alcohol markers (below), added some Stickles to his hat for a bit of sparkle, cut him out with a stitched rectangle die and edged it with antique linen distress ink. I love the stitched look around a stamp. I took advantage of the OCS pre-order for the Classic Christmas paper from Simple Stories and decided it was the perfect paper for this card. Some die cut holly, red enamel dots for the berry and cotton lace finish off my card.

The Chill Of Winter

Today is cold and dreary where I live so it is the perfect day to escape into my craft room and have some me time.

I had coloured this super cute digital stamp from Miss Daisy Stamps a little while ago and decided today was the day to get it made into a card.

I started by printing off my digital stamp and colouring it with alcohol markers. I cut it out using dies from Spellbinders and inked the edges with Antique Lined Distress ink. Some cream cardstock was run through a snowflake embossing folder and all of this was added to a patterned paper background from Echo Park and Simple Stories. The sentiment - also from Miss Daisy Stamps - was printed on cream cardstock and mounted on green to match. The image itself is popped up using some 3D Foam Pop Dots.

My absolute favourite embellishment - enamel dots - finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Digital Stamps: Alannah & Snowball and Snow Hugs 1 - Miss Daisy Stamps
Patterned Paper: Season's Greetings - Echo Park, Classic Christmas - Simple Stories
Dies: Standard Circle and Lacey Circles - Spellbinders
Snowflake Embossing folder - Darice, Antique Linen Distress Ink - Ranger, Cotton Lace - Dollarama, 3D Foam Pop Dots - Forever In Time

Spectrum Noir Markers: BT2 CR7 CR11 DR6 TN2 TN5 TN7 CG1 DG2 DG3 TN1 EB1 EB2 PP3 PP5 DR2 CT1 CT3 GB11 CT4 GB5 OR1 BGR2 BGR4 BGR5

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Boo!

I can't believe we are in the middle of October already! Halloween will be here before we know it so I have chosen to use "Halloween Kitty & Gang" from the Fall/Winter Fun new release.

I have also used an older sentiment called "Happy Halloween Script".

I had some fun colouring this cute "gang" up with alcohol markers. There striped paper has some gold stripe in it (hard to see) and so does the black boo paper behind the photo so I added some gold Wink of Stella to the stars, buckle and collar on the cat. The stamp is cut out using a stitched square die and mounted on black cardstock.

I used the sketch from this month's challenge to create my card base - I swapped out the tag for a fish tail banner die just for fun, and added some fun stitched ghost dies. Some glittery gold and orange gumdrops finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Halloween Kitty & Gang (TT024) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Happy Halloween Script (F232) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Boo! - Recollections
Dies: Stitched Square, Happy Haunting and  Fishtail Banner dies - Your Next Stamp

Wicked

Halloween is just around the corner and so is the end of October - YIKES!!

This week's inspiration brought to you by "Elvira & Friends" and the "Wicked" sentiment, both from the new Fall/Winter Fun release.

After colouring my stamp I fussy cut it out and added it to the background I created with pop dots. I pulled apart a cotton ball hoping to add a spooky feel, and added a spider web, spiders and a picket fence. I cut out a frame from black cardstock to frame my little scene. The sentiment was stamped and cut out with a fishtail banner die. I finished it off with some orange gumdrops.
I used the sketch from this month's challenge for my layoutt - substituting the banner for my spider web and placing a couple of my spiders in a different place. That is the great thing about using a sketch - you can "tweak" things a little to make it your own.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Elvira & Friends (TT055) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Wicked (HH033) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Spookville - We R Memory Keepers
Happy Haunting Die Set, Fence & Lampost,Fishtail Banner Dies - Your Next Stamp

Gobble Til You Wobble

We celebrated Thanksgiving this past weekend here in Canada. It was an amazing weekend full of family, fun and lots of turkey and pie.
I know I'm still wobbling!

Our OCS friends and fans in the U.S. celebrate Thanksgiving later, so I made this card as a reminder to "Eat More Pie" when you celebrate. lol

My card today features "Tommy Turkey" and the "Gobble Wobble" sentiment from the new Fall/Winter Fun release at High Hopes.

Our friend Tommy Turkey is put on an action wobble so when the card is moved he wobbles - he really makes me giggle!

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I fussy cut him out and added him to some dark brown card stock and cut around him again. I used a Spellbinders Lacey Circle and classic circle die to add some fun, food patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs. Some twine and gumdrops finish off my card.

Happy Halloween Shaker

It's Thursday already and that means it's my turn to share a fun new image from the Fall/Winter Fun New Release. Have you seen all the fun, cute images in this release?! So much fun!

My card today features "Chester & Friends" and the "Block Happy Halloween" sentiment. I used this month's challenge sketch for my layout and made a shaker card with some fun Halloween confetti.

I started by colouring my stamp with alcohol markers and fussy cutting it - the spider web was a bit of a challenge! Paper from the Moonlit collection from Authentique was perfect for this card. The background paper I chose was kind of plain so I took a mini bat splatter stamp and added some bats for fun. A tag cut with my Cricut, some fun gumdrops and some twine finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Chester & Friends (TT053)
Sentiment: Block Happy Halloween (HH031)

Snow Kisses

I am so happy to share another stamp from the Fall/Winter Fun New Release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

I used the OCS challenge sketch for this card. Meet "Snow Kisses" and the "Candy Cane and Mistletoe" sentiment. How cute is this stamp!?!

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I added some dots to the scarf with a white gel pen and cut it out with a stitched square die. I love putting some sparkle on my Christmas cards so I added some glitter to the hat and scarf. It was my first time using Liquid Applique on her coat and I added some pink Frantage to the corner and sentiment. This cutie is mounted on paper from the Sugar Plum collection from MME. I love the soft, non traditional Christmas colours of the collection. I added a snowflake from a border die and some matte sprinkles from Doodlebug Design finish off my card.

You And Your Herd

It's October already and that means we have a New Release called Fall/Winter Fun at High Hopes Rubber Stamps AND it means a new challenge here at One Crazy Stamper!

If you haven't taken a look at this new release you will definitely want to! It is full of fun new winter/fall images.

For the challenge we also have a sketch for you to play along with. I have used the sketch for my card. I am happy to introduce you to "Decorating With Charlie" - how fun is he!?! He makes me smile! and the new sentiment "You And Your Herd".

I had a hard time not giggling as I coloured this stamp - I don't know why but Charlie brings that out in me. Maybe it's because he brings back fond childhood memories from being on my friends' farms.

I coloured Charlie and his mouse friend with alcohol markers and cut them out with a stitched rectangle die. It is hard to tell in the picture but the tree and grass are coloured with a green sparkle pen on them as well as clear sparkle pen on the bell and ornament. I cut my paper from the I Love Christmas Collection (Echo Park) and added them to some red and tan cardstock.
I had a wood snowflake in my stash so I used a Silver Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle to match the bell. The sentiment is stamped and cut out with a fish tail banner die. Gingham ribbon from Celebrate It finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Decorating With Charlie (TT060), High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: You and Your Herd (HH035)- High Hopes Rubber Stamps
