Penguin Christmas Tree

Welcome to the Christmas Release 2019 for High Hopes Rubber Stamps!!
My card features the new Penguin Pyramid. How fun is this stamp!?!
I have coloured them up in traditional Christmas colours and added the new O Christmas Tree sentiment, but I want to colour them again to include on a birthday or just because type card. I think this stamp has so many possibilities and is sure to make the recipient smile! If you are a penguin lover you will want this one in your collection!

After colouring up these cuties in some traditional Christmas colours, I hand fussy cut them using a thin white edge. I added some glittery snow and added it to some paper from My Minds Eye. It is very hard to see in the photo but I added some star dust Stickles to the small snow flakes on the paper behind them just for an added touch of festive.  I stamped and cut the sentiment and added it to some matching card stock. Some matching glittery ribbon for a bow and some enamel dots finish off my card.

Boo-tiful Day

Poor Witchy Poo seems a little surprised by the guest who has dropped in to see her! Spiders aren't necessarily my favourite but my heart would definitely skip a beat if one just dropped down beside me like this!
At least this cute spider is here to wish Witchy Poo and you a boo-tiful day!

This week I stuck with the traditional Halloween colours of orange and black except for Witchy Poo's fun hair and coloured her up with alcohol markers.
I mixed patterned paper from Recollections and Authentique to create my card base.
Next I cut a thin "frame" using a square die and edged it and all of the paper edges with black ink. The spider web and spider are from a fun happy haunting set and I added a twine bow to the web just for fun. The sentiment is  cut out using a fishtail banner die and the card is finished off with my favourite - gumdrops.

Penguin Birthday Wishes

I have a number of people in my life who love penguins and funny how those same people all have a Birthday once a year
I love the Penguin Gardener set because it has three different penguins so I can make up cards for my stash using each different stamps. Unfortunately I too have a birthday once a year and as I get older I have a hard time remembering who got which penguin stamp the year before.........sigh............

After stamping and colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white edge. Next I gathered my patterned papers and cut them to size. I added this adorable stamp to a stitched banner just for fun and inked all the paper edges with antique linen distress ink. Some cotton lace ribbon from my stash and sparkly gumdrops finish off my card.

No Tricks!

Halloween will be here before we know it and the little ones will be picking out the perfect costume for trick or treating.
My card this week featuring Angel Bear Witch is all about the treats! I chose some non traditional Halloween colours for this one just for fun.

After colouring up this adorable bear with alcohol markers and a few Prismas for shading, I cut it out using a stitched tag die. It is hard to see in the photo but I used some clear sparkle pen on the wings for just a touch of bling and I added some white polka dots to his gown just for fun.  Paper from Bootiful Nights by American Craft was perfect for my non traditional coloured card. I added the stamped tag with 3D foam pop dots for some dimension and twine and matte gumdrops finish off my card.
