Never Tire Of You

I have a fun little card for you today using Tire Swing Dragon and Never Tire sentiment from High Hopes. We had a blast of winter here last week which put me in spring/summer fun thinking mode.

I started by colouring my stamp with alcohol markers. I ran some blue paper through a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give it the look of my dragon swinging high above the grass and cut out a cardstock background for it with a stitched rectangles die. The dragon fussy cut and popped up with pop dots.
I wanted to add twine to the side of my card but I didn't have a colour to match perfectly. So what is a gal to do? I had some off white twine and lots of it so I cut a piece to the length I wanted, put it on a scrap piece of paper and used the medium colour alcohol marker from my rope on the stamp and coloured my twine with it. Perfect! My card is finished off with my favourite....gumdrops!!
