I used "Kathy Quilting Angel" and the Sew Sweet sentiment, both fun, older stamps from High Hopes. I personally am not a quilter, I've tried it and honestly it's not my thing but I have a ton of family who love to quilt. I have also been blessed with a lot of quilts made by my Grandmother and there is a ton of love in every stitch.
I wanted my card to look like a quilt piece in progress. After colouring my image and cutting it out, I edged it with some matching turquoise ink. I created my background by using some left over pieces of paper and cutting them into 1" squares. It is not noticeable in the photo but the wings have clear Wink of Stella on them for a bit of glitter and Star Dust Stickles was added to the flower centres for a bit of bling. Sparkly gumdrops and a piece of ribbon finish off my card.
