I don't often get thank you cards sent out. I think about it and then life gets in the way and by the time I get the chance to sit down and play in my craft space the reason for sending the card in the first place is too far gone.
Today, I had some time to just sit and play and so I decided I needed to add to my thank you card stash so I can just grab a card and get it in the mail in a timely manner. I totally stepped out of my comfort zone with this one as it is clean and simple with just a few pops of colour. I have had this now retired stamp set in my stash for a long time and it has never seen ink but I think it is perfect for a thank you card.
This stamp set has 6 different framed flower types to choose from but I chose to work with the tulips since it is spring. Using my Misti, I stamped it three times - not quite perfectly but close - and cut it out using a stitched rectangle die. I added a few pops of colour with Copic alcohol makers and a heart cut out of glitter paper. To finish my card I stamped the sentiment and glued it on to a white A2 card base.
