Pumpkin Smiles

Fall is my favourite time of year. The cooler temperatures, cozy sweaters and the colours of the leaves changing are some of my favourite things about this season.
The "A Girl and Her Pumpkin" digital stamp by Crissy Armstrong is perfect for your fall/Thanksgiving cards and this month's new Anything Goes challenge.

After printing and colouring my stamp with alcohol markers and Prisma pencil, I cut her out with a rectangle die. I added her to some papers from two different digital paper collections (links below) as well as one small piece of matching traditional paper. The sentiment is a word die, but I decided to use the "negative" of the die for something different and fun. Some cotton lace ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.

Soccer Star Photo Shoot

Hooray hooray it's the 15th of May and time for a new Anything Goes Challenge on the Whimsy challenge blog and Facebook page.

The grass is drying the flowers are coming up and everyone is itching to be outside! Our Penguin Soccer friend here is having a soccer photo shoot done before the season starts! How fun is this digital stamp?!
I have lots of nephews and most of them like to play soccer so this card is perfect for one of them.

After printing and colouring my stamp with alcohol markers, fussy cut it.
I printed my digital paper and cut it to size. I added a film strip and polaroid die - perfect for my soccer photo shoot theme! Some glittery stars, twine and sparkly gumdrops finish off my card.

Cowgirl Smile

Today I had a chance to take a break from making Christmas cards to colour up this oh so sweet digital stamp from Digi Doodles Studio for their Anything Goes Challenge.

Anyone who knows me knows I love horses so this is one of those "perfect for me" stamps. It reminds me of my horse and I - he didn't necessarily like hugs in the beginning but he came to like them and even hugged me back a couple of times.

After colouring this sweet stamp with alcohol markers, I hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white edge. I popped it up with pop dots because I really wanted it to be the focus of the card. I mixed and matched some patterned paper and cut out a matching banner die and heart. Some cotton lace ribbon and gumdrops finish off my card.
