We celebrated Christmas with my family this past Sunday. It is always hard because I have a sister and brother and their families out West who weren't able to be here - but it is always fun to put a package together for them and race the mail to get it to them in time!
This stamp from High Hopes reminds me of my family and how all of our hearts come together at Christmas.
We all know our hearts are joined every day, but even more so at this time of year.
Meet "Homespun Hearts Snowy". I have also used the "All Hearts" sentiment both from High Hopes. I think this is a great winter stamp that could be used for winter cards too but I chose to use it for Christmas.
I coloured the snowman with alcohol markers and fussy cut him out. It is hard to see in the picture but I added a clear sparkle pen to all of the hearts.
A couple weeks ago I literally broke the scissors I use to fussy cut so I am breaking in a new pair. Next I cut a white circle and ran it through a snowflake embossing folder to create my background. I cut my patterned paper pieces and mounted them on cardstock. The sentiment is stamped and the hearts are coloured with alcohol makers. Some cotton lace and gumdrops finish off the card. The snowman was added at the end and he is popped up with pop dots.
